Institute of Research and Reforms International

The Institute of Research and Reforms International (IRR) is a premier think tank dedicated to pioneering comprehensive research and innovative reform strategies to address critical societal challenges. Established with the vision of fostering sustainable development, social justice, and equitable progress, IRR serves as a beacon of knowledge and a catalyst for change. In addition to its core research and policy-making initiatives, IRR is deeply committed to philanthropy and promoting interfaith harmony, working tirelessly to support vulnerable communities and foster mutual respect and understanding among different faiths.

Research Areas

  • Public Policy and Governance: Analyzing and proposing reforms to improve the efficiency of governmental and non-governmental institutions.
  • Economic Development: Studying economic trends, challenges, and opportunities to foster inclusive and sustainable growth.
  • Education and Health: Investigating strategies to enhance educational outcomes and healthcare services for all segments of society.
  • Social Justice and Human Rights: Advocating for the protection and promotion of fundamental human rights and social equity.
  • Environment and Sustainability: Researching and promoting sustainable practices to safeguard our environment for future generations.

In addition to research and policy-making, Ali Rehman Malik has expanded IRR’s scope to include humanitarian services, assisting those affected by terrorism and extremism. IRR supports orphaned children who have lost their parents to acts of terrorism, helping them access better educational opportunities and organizing healthy activities to help them overcome trauma.

IRR is committed to serving humanity and believes in supporting those suffering from serious and rare diseases, especially children. The institute raises awareness about rare diseases, assists patients, and provides treatment to those battling obscure and isolating conditions.

IRR is also committed to women empowerment. The institute recently organized a women’s cricket match in Islamabad, featuring players from terrorism-affected areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Ex-FATA, providing a platform for these women to showcase their talents and build confidence.

IRR is dedicated to promoting interfaith harmony. Following the tragic incidents of church vandalism in Pakistan, the Chairman visited the Christian community to express solidarity and held a press talk to advocate for minority rights. IRR remains committed to protecting and promoting the rights of all minorities.

Recent Initiatives:

Recently, IRR facilitated the evacuation of 40 female athletes, including cyclists and Mixed Martial Arts fighters, and their families from Afghanistan, from the brutal rule of the Taliban under which women are subjected to discrimination with a bar on their educational and sport activities and freedom. The IRR assisted these individuals in dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and helped them initiate new lives.
